After graduation from Northwestern University, Dr. Robert Henkel completed a residency in anesthesiology from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Coupled with experience in a public health clinic in Colorado and hospital based oral and maxillofacial reconstructive surgery in Chicago, Dr. Henkel brings a diverse background to Woburn Dental Associates.
 

He is a graduate of the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and a certified user of the Cerec Cad/Cam system, as well as the Periolase dental laser. As a member of the American Dental Association , Massachusetts Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Henkel routinely participates in more than 100 hours of continuing education courses per year on both at national and local level to keep on top of all the latest advances in dentistry.

Dr. Henkel has been practicing Dentistry since 1991 and joined Woburn Dental Associates in 1995. He  has established himself as a popular Woburn dentist who takes an interest in preventive, cosmetic, and reconstructive dentistry. With an extensive background in Anesthesiology and pain control, he can make you comfortable while providing the highest level of care .

Dr Henkel routinely contributes articles to the local newspapers,  nationally and internationally recognized journals and dental content websites in an effort to educate patients and other Dentists as to the state of the art procedures in Dentistry.  He is recognized by his peers as a leader in the profession, and treats  other dentists in his practice.
